Alicia got Beats this Halloween costume. He’s a bat! It was on him for about 5mins until he got it off. Still a cutie!

Beatles got really sick last weekend. He was vomiting for about a day and a half, loss of appetite, acting depressed, he couldn’t even keep water down. It got really scary and I felt so helpless! We ended up having to bring him to the Animal Emergency. They did blood tests and x-rays, but all they could find was inflammation of the intestinal tract. After 2 days at the hospital, B was ok enough to come home. He stopped vomiting, now he’s occasionally regurgitating. He finally started eating again (special bland diet of home cooked chicken and rice and medicine) and is starting to act like his normal self. It’s been a tough few days for Beatles, but we are giving him all the special comforts (sleeping on the bed!) we can to help him recover. :) Oh and a funny titbit, Beatles had diarrhea which got stuck in his fur, of course Matt didn’t know until B sat on the kitchen floor. He ended up having to wipe his butt. LOL!

Despite of being a 6 year old pup, Beatles doesn’t know how to howl. In fact, he’s a very quiet dog…. but not for long! Still working on teaching this middle aged dog new tricks!

A little Beatles Bio…..

He’s the newest and smallest member of our household… Oh Beatles! Aka Beats, the B, crotch-licker or just B…. just to name a few. Matt & I got Beatles in September 2009 from friends Steve & Tara. Now, Steve & Tara already have 3 other dogs (of the same breed: Yorkie/Shih Tzu cross) and took Beatles in when his first owner couldn’t take care of him anymore. They had been looking for the perfect family (aka Matt & I, of course!) for Beatles for quite a while and we were honored when they chose us to be his new family!!
